Wedding Wear Part 2

Hey my friends!
This second wedding look features a maxi for when you want to cover your legs because the sun went down and you’re cold but you still want to show off your shoulder tattoo at an evening wedding. Or is that just me? This maxi is seriously one of my favorite items ever because of all those things. Continue sharing your favorite wedding looks! I love hearing from you.

Wedding Wear Part 1

Hey my friends!
I love weddings. I really do. I love the romance and fun and community that go along with them. I also love the chance to dress up and dance the night away to cheesy wedding music. This week, I’ll be sharing two of my favorite looks for weddings this year. Especially the ones outdoors!
Disclaimer: Both looks feature this hat because I simply cannot get enough of it!

Don’t you just love the sweetness of this dress? I got it at a clothing swap earlier this year and knew it would be perfect for all sorts of summer activities. I paired it with some floral wedges to keep the look somewhat dressy while maintaining a modest vibe. (TBH, I can’t dance the night away in heels that are sky high!) I think this look will also be perfect for resort dinners later this month (hooray vacay!)

Labor Day Weekend

Hey my friends!
I hope you all had a marvelous 3 day weekend! I know I had a great time as I was finally feeling better.
This weekend, the hubs and I celebrated with some of our dearest friends as they got married! The wedding was beautiful in every way and we couldn't be happier for them.
I have a confession to make. I love the Indian culture. Almost to the point of obsession. I love the music*, the movies*, the food, and especially the clothes. So I was thrilled to get dressed in this elegant chaniya choli for the festivities. Oh, I have never felt more like a princess. To be honest, at first I was worried (since I am obviously not Indian) that I would look ridiculous. But our friend's family is so kind and gave me many compliments! That gave me the confidence I need to twirl and clap and laugh the night away. It was a one of a kind experience and we were truly thankful to be a part of it. Until next time!
