Hey my friends!
Sorry I've been MIA lately. The hubs and I are going on vacation to Europe in a few weeks and I've been caught up with planning. I'm one of those nervous planners. I worry and fret for about 3 weeks until everything is in place and we're on our way.
Among many things that I'm planning for this trip is an expansion to my spring wardrobe! I'll be getting a few pieces here specially for the trip and a few pieces there as souvenirs! I love to buy clothes/accessories on trips as a wearable memories. Here are some of the things joining my collection soon.
Faux Leather Jacket: Guys, I finally got one. I'm finally cool. This is the perfect layering piece for a spring day that might start and end on the chilly side!
Floral Maxi: I'm hoping to find a flowing, graceful maxi perfect for spring and summer while I'm there. It might be too cold to be practical some of the cities we'll be in but that's what the leather jacket is for! That's what I'm telling myself.
Faux Leather Flats: I hope I'm not the only one who has noticed how terribly difficult it is to find cute flats that aren't also suede/faux suede. It never fails, I'll be online shopping for some flats, see some cute ones, and lo and behold, they're made of a material that is absolutely no good for spring rain. Hopefully I'll find a pair early on in our trip since the flats that I'm bringing are (of course) faux suede.
Wide Brim Fedora: Last year I really loved my straw panama hat. I wore it everywhere! I am my mother's daughter in that sense. She's the diva of hats. I'm looking to broaden my collection with a piece that will be perfect for giving that touch of chic to any outfit.
Neutral Tote: Last but not least, I bought myself a super cute tote that will be perfect to dump any last minute things I'll need while we're traveling. Passports, chapstick, a good book, and my sleeping mask for the long plane ride.

That pink hat is perfect! Being a redhead, there's no way I'd actually buy a pink one but ugh! it can't get any better. I am becoming obsessed with brimmed hats lately!
