My Bad Habit

Hey my friends!
I thought I would share my most recent shoe haul because I realized that when I get in a shoe shopping mood, I buy all the shoes. Hence the post title. Here's what I picked up!

Call It Spring Chaella Flats in Peach
These pink flats are perfect for spring! So bright and cheerful! I am having a bit of a challenge styling them, however. Wearing them with muted colors makes me look like an upside down highlighter. If I try to pair them with another color, the two colors compete. And don't even get me started on matchy matchy. (bleh) This is why it's never a good idea to buy something without knowing how you will be wearing it. Will I ever learn? Probably not. So, any suggestions?

Call It Spring Juliet Flats
Perfect quirky sneakers for spring and summer! I know I'll be getting a lot of good use out these babies. FYI, they're currently on clearance. Y'all know I love a good deal!

Old Navy Color-Block Sandals in Tan
So I bought these sandals from Old Navy, thinking that they would be perfect for spring. Then I tried wearing them a few times and now I feel like I should save them for summer. Something about the color says beach/pool party/lakehouse rather than Easter Sunday. What do y'all think?

Michael Antonio Violet d'Orsay Pumps in Animal
These Pumps.
Look. At. Them.
Not ashamed to say that I regularly just gaze at them in my closet lovingly. So feminine. So powerful. This is shoe royalty. I found them while just browsing through Nordstrom Rack and I fell in love. And then I saw the price. $8.85. I LOVE A GOOD DEAL!! Unfortunately, I got the last pair so y'all can't share in the euphoria that owning these shoes bring. (Am I being dramatic? Nawwwww)

That's all for now my loves. Sorry for the abrupt ending but honestly how do you follow up after that?

Weekend Outfit: Polka Dots Part 2

Hey my friends!
I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend. I'm helping some friends paint their new place and I'm pretty excited about it. Nothing like being a part of making a new house a home.
The featured outfit today is one of my new favorites. I found the dress during my recent trip to Goodwill (haul post coming soon I promise). Isn't it cute? Topped with a cardi vest makes it a perfect outfit for a day gallivanting the streets of Savannah.
Note on the theme this week. I wasn't trying for a theme at all (other than weekend in Savannah but that couldn't be helped) I didn't realize how polka dotty my weekend would be until I was unpacking at the hotel. It's like my themed blog posts were writing themselves. Or......we could just say that I am a subconsciously creative genius. Whatever it is, it worked out well.

Old and New

Hey my friends!
One if the reasons I love H&M is that you can buy something there and wear it for several seasons after. Like this top. I don't even remember when I got it. Maybe 3 or 4 years ago? But it's still one of my favorites. Perfect for leggings, shorts, skinny jeans, etc. I'm hoping to wear it for many years to come.
The reason I love Marshalls is.... I mean, who doesn't love Marshalls? Which is why I was so surprised when I found these shoes on CLEARANCE for $20 in my size!!!! Anyone who shops at those kind of stores knows that you find something cute but never in your size. I feel like the entire female population in Atlanta is a shoe size 8. I literally snatched these up and guarded them with my life while browsing through the rest of the store; ready to growl at anyone else who dared to look at them. JK,  but needless to say they are precious to me.
What do you think? Both wins in my book.

Comfy Cozy

Rouge necklace! Where are you going??

Hey my friends!
I hope you had a lovely weekend! I feel like mine was super productive. I cooked, cleaned, bought groceries, and hung out with friends. It was the kind where I thought to myself "I'm becoming a responsible adult". This is unlike other weekends where I geek out about Harry Potter or something like that. Then I think, "Who am I kidding? I'm a kid forever!"
This is what I wore yesterday to go to church and grocery shopping. It is soo comfy. Can Palazzo pants be a thing for a while because I love wearing pajamas. And that's basically what they are. Snaz 'em up with a cute top and flats and you are good to go for the rest of the day. #winning
What's your favorite comfort item?  Is it unashamedly comfortable or just easy to wear?

Rain, Rain

Destroyed! This paired nicely with some Nacho Totchos. I love you Nook!

Hey my friends!
I will be posting pretty sporadically for the next week or so since life at work is miserable. I was so grateful for the tiny break I got yesterday.
The hubs and I spent our Memorial Day with some friends walking in the park (in the pouring rain. Notice my lovely umbrella?), demolishing a yummy fishbowl, and then playing games for the rest of the evening. I kept my outfit pretty simple. Just a bright dress, flats, and big hair. I'm really trying to master the "effortless" look. See how I have effortless in quotations? Yeah. It's harder than it should be. I hope you also enjoyed your holiday!
