Wedding Wear Part 2

Hey my friends!
This second wedding look features a maxi for when you want to cover your legs because the sun went down and you’re cold but you still want to show off your shoulder tattoo at an evening wedding. Or is that just me? This maxi is seriously one of my favorite items ever because of all those things. Continue sharing your favorite wedding looks! I love hearing from you.

Easter Sunday Sunshine

Hey my friends!
I know this is a week late, but pre-planning posts is a thing and this is actually what I wore on Easter Sunday.
I can't begin to tell you how much fun we had that day. After serving in the nursery and squeeeezing ourselves into the second service, we spent the rest of the day lounging by our friends' pool just enjoying the sun. It was such a beautiful day. Full of light in more ways than one!

Winter Maxi

Hey my friends!
What better way to start the week off than with some bright colors in the midst of the drab that is the winter? I used to shy away from bright colors since I thought mixing them was too tricky. And then I started to watch The Mindy Project. Oh, I have found my new style icon! I love the way Mindy mixes colors, patterns, and shapes so uniquely. So I decided to experiment for myself. I love the way this color combination looks! Although, now that I think about it, you can't really go wrong when mixing primary colors. They teach that in preschool..

I want to point out that I love maxis and I'm so proud of myself for creating a winter look with one. Most short girls shy away from maxi skirts, but I honestly couldn't care if it makes me look shorter or not. Who says you have to make yourself look taller to be pretty? Maxi length makes me feel like a princess and every girl deserves to feel like a princess.

Black and Blue

Hey my friends!
I love the way this look came out. Super breezy and comfy for running errands and working from home. Another outfit that kinda created itself. If you know me, you realize how happy that makes me!
Another thing that makes me happy is this new spot to take pics! Any bloggers out there know how terrifying it is taking pictures in public places. I don't know what it is that has me running away like a little kid who got caught when someone rounds the corner and there I am posing as if I'm some kinda dwarf model (only 5' 4"). Awkward!! So I am very thankful for this cute, private space behind our new home that lends itself so well to blogger posing. Maybe one day I'll be brave.
